In which Stephen gets a new title

L-R: Stephen with NCI's immediate past President, Dr. Paul Mooney,
and Jude Lynch, COO with O2 Ireland
Good news...I recently got a new title. I will henceforth be known as the O2 Student Support Officer at NCI. I'm delighted that O2 Ireland have announced sponsorship of disability support services here at the college. This will be a great support to NCI as we continue to strive for an environment that encourages excellence, celebrates differences, supports success and fosters involvement.

Our President put it well when he said: 'A challenge for all third level institutions is to ensure that support is mainstreamed wherever possible and that students with disabilities have an equitable learning experience. Support from O2 will help us deliver on this vision, progressing to a more inclusive environment for students with disabilities. NCI is regarded as an innovator in the area of disability support and we are delighted to be associated with O2, an organisation with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.'

O2's support will allow us to provide academic and personal support on an intensive one-to-one basis to students with disabilities, to ensure they realise their full potential.
